About Me:
I am a 14 year old freshman in high school. I learned Black Ash from my mother and a local basketmaker in my community, John Pigeon. I became more serious about making baskets this last summer when I was commissioned to make an order of baskets for my tribe, and also the Saginaw Chippewa in Mt. Pleasant. I have also sold my baskets to galleries and shops in the St. Ignace / Mackinaw City region. I hope to keep working with Black Ash and improve my skills so that I may teach other people.
